Keep Advocacy in Your Hearts Year-Round
By Arielle Dance
In March, you saw Endo Black, Inc. in the community—and even at the U.S. Capitol—educating and advocating for endometriosis awareness in Black and Brown communities. We aim to carry that energy with us throughout the year. As Endometriosis Awareness Month comes to a close and Adenomyosis Awareness Month is in full swing, our charge to you is to keep advocacy in your hearts year-round.
Also, don’t forget—this week is Black Maternal Health Week (April 11–17, 2025). It’s a powerful reminder of the need to uplift and protect Black lives at every stage of the reproductive journey.
Here are some ways you can advocate for endometriosis awareness:
Post your story and awareness facts on social media
Break the stigma and share your story with others
Reach out to your local media to highlight endometriosis in the Black community
Fundraise for Endo Black, Inc. in your local community or online
Ask your local government officials to increase funding in endometriosis research
Participate in research and clinical trials
Let us know how you plan to advocate for endometriosis awareness in your daily life!
