Mini Talk Series
On college campuses .
The Mini Talk Series is a pilot program under the Health Equity and Racial Injustice (HERI) Target. The pilot program focuses on college-trained women that are menstruating to provide tools for advocacy and educate them. The program will inform individuals of women's reproductive health, encourage them to advocate for themselves, and connect them to resources that will benefit their health and well-being.
By providing young women with resources and tools early on, they'll be able to learn how to become advocates for themselves and others around them. Also, the Mini Talk Series will allow room for more dialogue and growth on navigating college with a chronic illness. Mini Talk Series Pilot Program will be conducted at several colleges and universities such as Morgan State University, Bowie State University, and Howard University.
This will take place during Spring and Fall semesters.
