Our Table. Standing On The Frontline: Endo Black’s Advocate & Allies Conference
March 19 - 21, 2021
In 2021, we are the table, we set the rules, we build, and we are our authentic selves.
This conference is the first African American-led conference for endometriosis. In 2021, we are the table, we set the rules, we build, and we are our authentic selves.
We asked members of the community what they wanted to hear and learn about, and we’ve formulated those needs into themes of our panel discussions:
How Endometriosis Affects Motherhood at 11:00 am EST
Endo Advocacy at 1:00 pm EST
Having a Business with Endometriosis at 3:00 pm EST
Health Equity at 5:00 pm EST
We'll have musical artist Art Auré for an interview and listening party on Friday night. On Saturday, we look forward to having panel discussions with Chantil Thomas, Dr. Rahmatu Kassimu, Kyla Canzater, La-Anna Douglas, Casey Hinds, Les Henderson, and so many more wonderful women standing on the frontline. Samantha Denäe, April Christina, and Lauren Renee will be recording The V. Podcast Finale live on Sunday.
Founder, Lauren R. Kornegay will close out the conference with THE STATE OF BLACK ENDO: Endometriosis and its impact on the Black Community at 4:30 PM EST.
Visit our conference webpage for more information, workshop descriptions, and the full 3-day conference schedule.
